Spring 2017 Classes!
BellyBalance is a unique mix of Belly Dance and Yoga – two elements that connect your mind to your body. Class will begin with a yoga warm-up and we’ll shimmy our way through a mix of basic belly dance. Taught by Amber Kleid, Tues., March 7th-Apr. 11, 2017, (6 weeks), 6-7pm.
What’s the best way to get out of the workday funk and feel your soul again? To hop right into a class full of soul and funk music! Take our express 45 minute class to turn your day around! Taught by Christine, March 7th-Apr. 11th, (6 weeks) 5:15-6pm.
In this class, we will take time each week to learn how to sing a popular song. After we practice some verses, we’ll hit the dance floor to learn some simple choreography to go along with our sweet sounds. Taught by Michelle Grasty-Colont, Thurs., March 9th-April 13, 2017, (6 weeks) 6:30-7:30pm.
Inspired by the interval fitness model, we will be targeting different muscle groups and mixing in intense bursts of dance cardio with lower intensity “breaks.” Class is suitable for all levels of dance experience/physical fitness. Taught by Amy Hall, Tues, March 7th-Apr. 11, 2017 (6 weeks) 7-8pm.
In this class, you’ll learn the fine art of Jazzy Showgirl, which is a combination of Cabaret and jazz, with hints of Burlesque and Hip Hop. Taught by Christine, Tues., March 14th-Apr. 4th, 2017 (4 weeks), 8-9pm.
Sexy 1960s GoGo at its best. We’ll spring into the new season with the fun, flirty, and sensual side of early GoGo. Previous performance experience required. Strict limit of 8. Taught by Christine, Thurs. Mar. 2nd-Apr. 27th, 2017 (9 weeks), 7:30-8:30pm.
In 30 minutes, you’ll have engaged your core, stretched each part of your body thoroughly and powerfully, and calmed your mind for the perfect night cap. Only $24 for 6 classes, or $5 drop-in. Taught by Christine, Thursdays, Mar. 9th-Apr. 13th (6 weeks), 8:30-9pm.
