For many women, not too well.
Wait, let me back up a second here and explain what the Fifth Vital Sign is, in case you haven’t heard this term before. It’s the idea that our menstrual cycle is women’s fifth sign of health, alongside the traditional signs of body temperature, pulse rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure.
I’d venture to say it’s the MOST important sign of a woman’s health, starting from the very first time she has her period.
Culturally, we have been disconnected from accessing the knowledge of this vital sign by being told our periods are painful and a nuisance, that any period issue should just be fixed with birth control, that fertility issues must be dealt with via medication, and that fibroids and ovarian cysts are burdens that need to be surgically removed.
I’m here to say that denying our intimate connection to our fifth vital sign has done a disservice to women that impacts EVERY. PART. OF. OUR. LIVES.
Now, it’s time to change that.
In order to balance your hormones and come out of menstrual cycle hell, dietary changes, movement, sweating, and specific supplements are a must. During this 5 weeks, you’ll learn what changes are right for your body.
Often overlooked, the emotional component of estrogen dominance or whacky hormones is just as important as the physical. Stress reduction & working to let go of old patterns that no longer serve are necessary.
Just as we have a physical body, we also have an energetic one that needs to be tended to. In this program, you’ll learn techniques to help shift areas you had no idea were impacting your health.
What Do You Get?
Over the 5 weeks of the program, you’ll receive a weekly packet via email with themed instruction each week. Each week builds on the last to give you a holistic approach to balancing hormones.
In this program, protocols are provided to target gut health, liver support, adrenal health/stress reduction, which is at the root of nearly all menstrual issues, including fibroids and cysts, over-the-top PMS, and heavy periods.
The program includes weekly group video calls via Zoom on Wednesdays. You will also be paired with another person in the group to help support each other through the changes you are making.

Each Week Has A Theme
Every Monday, you’ll have a packet of explanations, exercises, and guidance for that week’s topic. These are chock full of information that will shift your mind, body, and soul.
Each Wednesday, we’ll have a Zoom call to go over the material from that week, and I’ll answer all your questions.
Week 1 - Hormones and The Food We Eat
If you want your hormones to balance out, you absolutely have to Heal. Your. Gut. Hormones completely depend on not only what you are eating, but also what you are absorbing.
Week 1 will focus on how to upregulate digestion and begin to heal your gut lining. Questionnaires will help you determine what type of dietary approach is best for your body. We’ll walk through ways to shift mindset blocks around food, digestion, and your microbiome.
Week 2 - Supporting Your Local Detox System
When it comes to getting your hormones into a delicate balance, nothing is more important than your liver! That’s because it has to metabolize those hormones to move them out of your body, otherwise they become toxic to you.
This week, we’ll cover all the basics – liver support through food, herbs, and supplements (making sure you take care of both Phase I and Phase II liver detox); xenoestrogens and their impact on your hormones; lifestyle shifts that support improved liver function (note: these are mostly some SWEET self-care rituals).
Week 3 - Get the Stress Out
Did you know your stress levels have a HUGE impact on your homornes? Too much cortisol doesn’t place nice with progesterone, but too little cortisol is not good either. This week, you’ll learn exactly how stress affects your hormones, and ways to combat its powerful influence.
Week 4 - Movement and Your Hormones
Moving your body in ways that feels good to it is necessary for your hormones to work properly. We’ll talk about the pros and cons of different exercise regimens and you’ll craft your own personalized movement plan.
Week 5 - Energy Approaches
This week we’ll talk about how energy impacts your hormones, and then drop into my favorite systems: EFT and AIT. We’ll also bring it all together so that you can continue with your hormone journey with a mind, body, energy/spirit approach!
Small Group Support
Along with our full-group calls, where you’ll be able to ask questions about what you are experiencing, you’ll also be paired up with someone else in the program. You can be in touch with them in-between sessions, along with all the other women in the program in our private FB group.
