Understanding Serum (Blood) Labs So You Know What To Ask Your Doctor
Welcome to our first subscription video!!
In this week’s episode, I go over my most recent blood labs to show you what patterns to look for in your own labs, so you can be more informed when going over results with your doctor.
From a functional standpoint, blood labs are a huge help in determining nutritional deficiencies before they turn into something worse. They also help to show early patterns of dysfunction in different systems like your gut, liver, kidneys, adrenals, and thyroid.
The more you understand about these kinds of labs, the more useful conversations you can have with your doctor, especially if you are dealing with symptoms.
Please note, I am not a doctor and am not diagnosing, treating, or recommending any type of treatment plan (even to myself!) and just as I recommend to you, I go over these results with my doctor.
This is also not a comprehensive overview of all the usual lab markers – I only brought in the ones on my own labs that fit a pattern of dysfunction.
Hope you learn something new!
